The objective of Tast amb Llops is to promote and make available to the public great wines made by the Gratallops winery, the nerve center of the D.O.Q. Priorat, which usually costs to access. Wines of small productions that are difficult to obtain through the usual channels of distribution, either because of their exclusivity or because of their price.
The common denominator of the village wines of Gratallops are the autochthonous varieties with which they are created, basically Garnacha and Cariñenas and the edaphological characteristics of the area, which can not be understood without considering the great influence of the slate soils and the climatic peculiarities of the municipality.
More than 20 years ago, four lovers of viticulture undertook the Priorat revolution and placed it at the center of attention. This movement triggered fundamental debates around the wine culture of the region and Spain.
Today, the new generations of grape growers and the movement’s parents meet publicly to compare styles and look for a future.
